Good-Bye Shorts, Hello Sweaters

Well, maybe not sweaters yet but you get my drift. I should have said long sleeves but sweaters sounds better. I took Cooper to the park this morning with a friend and her children. We walked the 2 mile loop around the lake and then hit the playground. The kids had a blast and the cooler air is so much more refreshing.

End of Summer

The nights are starting to get cooler here. I went for a walk this morning and there were all these very still bumble bees lined up on the railing to the bridge warming up their little bodies. Just another thing to remind me that the season is definitely coming to a close.

Jingle Bells...Already?!?

The holidays will be here before I know it. I'm just cringing thinking about the mad shopping that I will have to do. I always tell myself not to procrastinate and get the majority of shopping done before the start of fall. But like my own holiday tradition, not a stitch of shopping has been done.

More Babies...

I was lucky to photography my friend K's new baby this morning. Little Miss A is an absolute doll as well as big brother R. It's nice living in the south where the weather is still warm. I was able to set up a studio outside. It was a perfect day for taking photographs. Thank you K for welcoming me into your home.

My Kiddos

Part of the inspiration to take my photography further was my kids. I love taking their pictures. I remember my mom telling me how quickly time flies once you have kids. Now I understand what she means. I look back on pictures that I took of my son 6 months ago and he is so different. Six months is that much time either. I'm sad by the time that I have lost but at the same time excited about the times to come.

S-L Wedding

I had the pleasure of photographing this wonderful couple about 6 weeks ago. You could just feel the love in the air. Their wedding was absolutely beautiful and it seemed as if their guest had a blast. Thank you for letting me be part of your blessed event.

Maternity Sneak Peak

I had a wonderful photo session yesterday with K and her son L. They were so fun and easy to work with. L is expecting a new baby brother in the next couple of weeks. I can't wait to meet and photograph their new bundle of joy. Congrats again.
